For its visual language, the collection looks to Junkanoo, the legendary festival of The Bahamas.
More than a celebration, Junkanoo is an expression of resilience. Born from the determination of enslaved communities to preserve their identity through music, movement, craftsmanship, and color, it became a lasting symbol of freedom, creativity, and hope. Generation after generation, its rhythms and vibrant costumes continue to remind us that culture has the power to outlive hardship and bring people together.
That spirit lives throughout this collection.
Its palette reflects the energy of Junkanoo—the brilliance of the Caribbean sun, the deep blue of the surrounding ocean, lush tropical greens, warm earth tones, and vivid bursts of color that celebrate life. Bold without excess, expressive without compromise, every shade is chosen to evoke movement, optimism, and warmth.
Every pair is produced in Portugal using carefully selected natural fibers and certified yarns. Organic cotton, premium wool, and other natural materials were chosen not only for their exceptional comfort, but for the honesty they represent. Materials that age beautifully. Craftsmanship that values longevity over novelty. Design that speaks through quality rather than decoration.
Presented at a time when conflict, division, and uncertainty continue to shape much of the world around us, TAVARIO offers a quieter perspective. It chooses creativity over destruction, understanding over division, and culture over fear.
